  Georgian-born Vladimir Kornéev and his parents fled Georgia for Germany when he was six years old. Over the following twelve years he completed his education as a pianist and his secondary education in Augsburg, before starting his acting and vocal studies at the „August Everding - State University of Theatre and Music“ in Munich. In 2012 he obtained his diploma with distinction.

  As a Chanson singer Vladimir Kornéev has been an award winner three times in succession at the German national singing competition, category “chanson” in Berlin. In 2020 Vladimir Kornéev became a distinctive member of the „Bavarian Academy Of Fine Arts“ as the youngest recipient in the department of performing arts. This reward counts as one of the highest honours for an artist in Germany.
  His repertoire is mainly in French and Russian but also includes English covers, self composed and written German chansons as well his own versions of the Kurt Weill songbook.

  In May 2014 Vladimir Kornéev released his first chanson album “Weitergehn”. In 2016 he released his second album „Recital“, which is the live recording of his premiere concert „LIEDÉЯ“ at the acclaimed German chanson theatre „Bar jeder Vernunft“ in Berlin.
  Vladimir Kornéev released his third album "Herz" in 2019. It is the live recording of his winter concert at the „Tipi am Kanzleramt“ theatre in Berlin.
  His orchestra album „Romance“ in cooperation with the „WDR Funkhaus Orchester“, the radio orchestra of the West German broadcasting corporation, is available since May 2021 on all digital platforms worldwide and on CD. Vladimir Kornéev wrote the arrangements together with the pianist Liviu Petcu.

  Vladimir Kornéev premiered with his Kurt Weill program “Youkali” as the artist in residence at the the „Kurt Weill Fest“ 2020 in Dessau succeeding Ute Lemper. This concert evening tells the story of Kurt Weill’s extraordinary musical journey from Berlin and Paris to New York combined with his love for Lotte Lenya. Vladimir Kornéev sang this recital also at the Bar jeder Vernunft in Berlin, for the EU Parliament in Brussels and celebrated his London debut at the renowned cabaret theatre The Crazy Coqs in Soho.

  In 2022 Vladimir Korneev had his North American debut with his chanson program “Romance” accompanied by the Quebec National Symphony Orchestra with Alexandre Da Costa conducting. He was acknowledged by the Canadian Press as “One of the greatest voices of Europe” (La Relève). Vladimir Kornéev returned to Montreal for 7 Christmas concerts at the Montreal Symphony House with the Quebec National Symphony Orchestra.

  In 2023 Vladimir Kornéev will perform his new show “Le droit d’aimer” (The right to love) with very personal interpretations of songs by Edith Piaf and recollections of her life.

  Vladimir Kornéev has performed extensively on stage in Germany with his own concerts as well as a guest of symphonic orchestras and numerous TV shows. In addition to his singing career, Vladimir Kornéev is a renowned actor for movie and television. In 2022 he gained international recognition with the Netflix series “The Empress” portraying the Russian Tzar Alexander Romanov II.
